You can’t plan for this kind of success (or can you?)

In college I created an online dating site that people really loved. I wanted to take it big, but just couldn’t seem to expand beyond the initial city I started in. I was planning out a national media campaign, and putting together a budget I could bring to investors. I wanted to work all night on it, but I decided to honor my commitment to take my brother to dinner that night. I had a great time at dinner with my brother and he brought his laptop to show me a video of a date he went on. He went on a double date, and just for fun of it he had the second couple record it with a camcorder. It was one of the funniest videos I have ever seen. So before he put it up on YouTube, I asked if he would include a message about my dating site. The video proceeded to get 2,000,000 views. It was uncanny. Everyone saw the ad for my site and our number of visitors and members exploded.

Sometimes what you need is much closer than you think!

Great story - thanks for sharing! I believe you don't feel like you conciously planned for this kind of success but somehow you manifested by your thoughts. Isn't it interesting that even though you didn't get to the specifics about the advertising plan, your thoughts led you to dinner that night. You had the intention somewhere and then you took action by asking your brother to post your ad...without you taking that action it woudln't of manifested. Intention married with action manifests miracles! :)
