Today is day 3 of a pretty radical herbal cleanse I'm doing. I love the end results from these things but doing them is not all that fun. One thing I really do love about doing them though is how I get to see each time what I think is true and how it is more made up than true. I have certain ideas about how much food is appropriate for me. Well, now I know better but I used to have ideas of what is the appropriate amount of food that I need to feel good. After not a whole lot of food for three days I'm hungry for sure, but could I be happy with smaller amounts of food on a regular basis? You bet. I've had clients suggest that they wanted to be able to lose enormous amounts of weight and feel fantastic eating as much of anything they wanted. I suggest an experiment to see how you might be satiated with far less than you currently think is the right amount. Right is made up. It's a fallacy and there is no magic formula. One day you just might need a bit more than another day... It's all about what you think that makes things true for you. The same thing holds for relating with people and how what you make up depends on what you believe... I've had some wonderful lessons in realizing as soon as I shift what I think, hey, lo and behold, others shift what they think too and we can all have so much more fun. (or not, if I choose that.) Freedom comes from getting facile at shifting the thoughts and then the feelings follow and after that the manifestations follow and you might find yourself with more money, health, freedom and fun in your life just from playing this simple game. Then if you want to go back and create recipes for yourself with thoughts go ahead, but at least you will know the game you are playing and that it is all made up. By that I mean that if you see that you really are much happier eating smaller amounts of food and then you decide on what are the current amounts that make you happy, you have just created the script for what you think you think about food amounts. So much of how we operate in our lives has been passed down from what others think, so find out how it is you want to be thinking and creating. Now, I'm going back to drinking more herbs.
