What was you favorite Oscar moment? The gowns? The musical performances? Tilda Swinton's acceptance speech? (Which was fabulous, by the way- definitely makes one wonder about her agent's buttocks!) Jon Stewart bringing Marketa Irglova back onstage?

I've loved Swinton since I saw her in "Orlando." She's such a talented, quirky actress. I thought her acceptance speech was top shelf. Loved the bit about George Clooney's rubber bat suit and nipples. Priceless! . . . TJP

I muted every nominated song from "Enchanted." Surely there were better original songs this year? Can you say musical Nutrisweet? Very happy Irglova and the Irish guy won. . . TJP

Although overall I found this year's ceremony to be a bit dull, my favorit moment was listening to Markéta Irglová's belated acceptance speech. (And since "No Country for Old Men" was filmed in New Mexico, I have to give it a hometown vote!).

but to be fair, only because my roommate commandeered the television and I had no choice. . . TJP

I am so happy There Will be Blood won best cinematography. For those who have seen it, the shot of Daniel running holding HW away from the exploding oil and the camera pans back between them and the oil is one of the best shots I have ever seen. And obvs I am happy Day Lewis won best actor but I think Blood should have won more (Best Director and Best Picture). Aside from that, my favorite part was Jon Stewart. He was very on the whole night, especially the "hollywood, do you need a hug?"
