Many Europeans still take month-long vacations. Here in the U.S., taking even a week off is almost impossible. In fact, many people are now taking Daycations - going away for just 24 hours!
Even if we could squeeze out more time, the buying power of the dollar is dropping as fast as the temperature is rising, and our bank accounts are just saying "no".
With the price of everything from gas to groceries skyrocketing, you can still have fun - and even be romantic - on a budget. You just have to think outside of the box.
To save time, money and stress, why not try this helpful suggestion from Steve G., Lead Developer at PeopleJam: go to the movies with a group of friends, separate the group by gender, then go to movies that guys or gals will like and don't waste money on movie tickets for stuff you'll hate.
This approach means the guys won't have to sweat through "Sex and the City," and the ladies won't have to see what too much testosterone can do to a guy in "The Hulk" - like they don't already know!
