It is the only universal religion in this world and hereafter.it provides a complete way of living life.it is the most descent religion.
one feel secure after having islam as religion. especially women folk
Islam is the only universal religion, you say?
The most decent? Especially for women?
I don't understand. Please offer further explanation. How does Islam make you feel secure and why do you negate all other religions? If think it's beautiful that you connect with Islam and that it speaks to you, but it doesn't seem fair of you to criticize other universal religions as not being decent.
... in wondering about the basis for this assertion. Is it personal faith? Or some tangible facet of Islam that others can evaluate? I'm interested in your beliefs and why you think they might be relevant for others, especially women.
Being a Muslim myself, it is my duty to apologize if Libran's comments caused hurt sentiments. Instead of me claiming that Islam is a universal and true religion, I would rather suggest you to Go to the source.
Learn about Islam, not from just any person(me or anyone else) but from the source. And that source is Quran and The Life of Muhammad(may peace and blessing of Allah be upon him).
1) *Sahi International* is considered one of the most authentic and modern English translation available easily in US(not easily available in India).
2) Read Life of Muhammad By Haykal is a very thorough biography on the life of the Last Prophet of Islam.

@libran
Brother preaching like that only puts people off. Give them the proper details
This is very useful. i will follow these links. I'm interested in learning more. And I believe we all could benefit from studying the perspectives of others. This is the beginning of a good discussion.
Yes of course, we can surely learn from each other's perspective, rather we should see what other's have to say. This is the only way to come closer to truth.
Looking forward to a great discussion.
We all must remember, *Freedom is not a privilege, but a responsibility*
Mr. Ikeda is the current President of Soka Gakkai International (SGI), a Buddhist association with about 15 million members in more than 190 countries and territories. Sensei (teacher) is the founder of several educational, cultural and research institutions and also one of the greatest activists for world peace. He has traveled the world many times, meeting with great leaders and heads of state for dialogs, which foster peace and understanding between nations.
Sensei is quoted as saying that, "freedom doesn't mean the absence of all restrictions. It means possessing unshakable conviction in the face of any obstacle. This is true freedom."
I invite the PeopleJam community to share what they'd consider to be their unshakable convictions. Imagine both dire and tender obstacles. Would your convictions remain the same? Or would you find it in your heart to embrace another who didn't have the same beliefs as you did?
No matter whatever be the circumstances or obstacles be my convictions are unshakable. You can test me on this.
Moreover, you will get the same answer from any Muslim who has basic knowledge of Islam and its concepts. Though certain Muslims might claim that they have unshakable conviction, but when the times comes to take the call. their convictions start to fail them, this is because of lack of knowledge of concepts of Islam.
