A passionate 90% effort is more productive, creative and effective that a panicked 110%. Whgen everything around you speeds up---- slow down! and take a step back from what you are doing to get a clearer perspective and get calm and in control
when under pressure take three deep breaths and ask yourself what is the worst thing that can happen if you don't do what you think you gotta
when you try too hard, you increase stress and tension. You also don't commucate well because you are so stressed and usually rushed and you certainly don't listen. The quality of your work also decreases when in a rush or tired. you actually work slower, don't think as clearly and make more mistakes. And creativiity and new ideas and perspectives at these times--- forget about it.

great idea, Bob. I am actually thinking of buying a slower car to make sure I do this both figuratively and literally.
