For the past year, I've selected a charity to support each time I create a new program or product. I give 10% of the profits from that piece of business to the charity on a quarterly basis. It's been fun to find the perfect group for each new business line. In fact, I have my children help me select the charities.

For example, I support a children's literacy group with a product for authors, and a non-profit group for Third World Weavers with product on business development.

I was inspired by Bill and Melinda Gates who are doing so much good in the world with the profits of MicroSoft.

Tithing in this way is estremely rewarding. My customers like knowing that a portion of their payments is going out into the world to do good.

Additionally, I feel properous and abundant every time I make that donation. In my little way, I am a philanthropist--- and that feels marvelous!
