“Filthy Fifty”
For time:
50 Box jump, 24 inch box
50 Jumping pull-ups
50 Kettlebell swings, 1 pood
Walking Lunge, 50 steps
50 Knees to elbows
50 Push press, 45 pounds
50 Back extensions
50 Wall ball shots, 20 pound ball
50 Burpees
50 Double unders
Did this for our Muscle & Fitness Magazine photo shoot. This is BRUTAL! Burpees were by far the hardest – when I got to them, I did 1, and then took about a 30 second break! Only got about 5 in a row through all 50.
Time: 20:43 – PR by about 8 minutes! Last time I did this was 18 months ago.
An oldie but goodie. Question - I'm a cardio hater and spend 90% of my gym time hitting the weights. In fact, the only real cardio I get is a half mile to mile jog 2 to 3 times a week w/ my lab. Got any cures for the cardio haters?
I remember doing those in Army basic training, but we didn't call them burpees. I'll definitely give them a try.
