I received a wonderful practice from one of the wisest women I have ever met, Dr. Rachel Naomi Remen – author of Kitchen Table Wisdom; Stories That Heal and other incredible works and Medical Director and Founder of Commonweal Cancer Center.
Rachel suggested three easy questions to ask yourself at the end of each day that would bring forth the miracles that occur for each of us every day that we tend to gloss over or allow to get lost in the minutia of our lives;
What surprised me today?
What inspired me today?
What touched me today?
Even on some of the worst days of my life I have been able to find the miracles of inspiration and joy when I answer these three questions. It reminds me that there is something greater than me and my problems, challenges or frustrations and that there is Spirit lurking in even the quietest and remotest corners of our lives. All we have to do is look for it in the reflection of our day with these three simple, yet tremendously powerful questions.
This is the most awesome exercise and I have started doing it. It really is great to create awareness around the miracles that take place everyday -- because they do!! Thank you, Amy for once again sharing a golden nugget!!

Hi Amy, Thank you for this beautiful, graceful practice. I saw Dr. Rachel Remen at the ICF Coaching Conference a couple of years ago. For me, she was my favorite part and made the whole experience worthwhile.
I would like to maybe add another inquiry to the list, and include guidance. For me this has come on so strong and helps me stay the course, my course, because I have confirmation through Divine Guidance. And the more I aknowledge and honor it, the more it comes. xooxoxxo,Marcia
