America is a country of great abundance, yet, everyday most of us
complain about the lack in our lives. Being human means that all of us,
regardless of race, religion, economics, politics, or sex, will have
difficult times and challenges to overcome. I have created a plan that
works in our family and we’ll share it with you. It’s called,
Thanksgiving is Today. Take time to give thanks for the little things
every day, not just once a year. Be grateful for what you have. When we
are grateful, we are rewarded with a sense of honor and personal
strength. Learn to be grateful for everything.

1. Say "thank You"
During the next hour, say a sincere "thank-you" to everyone who does
anything nice for you,
2. Cook up a treat
Cook a nourishing, sweet, delicious dish for a loved one.
3. Create a Gratitude Journal
In a notebook, write down all the people, places, and things you are
grateful for daily.
4. Learn to Receive
Allow others the gift of giving.
5. Write a letter
Write a note "just because".
6.Party On
Throw a gratitude party.
7. Color My World
Create a colorful "greatful" collage.
8. Offer compliments
Find beauty and grace in others and tell them.
9. Reward Yourself
You are the most important person in the room!
Everyday is Thanksgiving Day-THANKS!

Great advice, Cynthia. Thank you! For me, personally I have found that when I am copping an attitude of gratitude it is much more difficult to focus on the negative. :) What would you say to someone who was having a tough time seeing the good and being grateful for what they have?
