I want to do this because I had my children later in life. They never had the opportunity to know their grandparents and many of their aunts and uncles. I want my children to have as a rich of an experience of their family as possible. This summer, I would like to take them on a vacation that traces our family’s migration from Eastern Europe in the early 1900’s.

My children will understand their roots and how much the family sacrificed for them to have the lives they lead today.

What a great idea! My partner and I are planning to have a child. I think this is so important, especially for those of us who have children later in life who won't get the chance to know their grandparents and extended family. I'm going to adopt your goal. Thank you for sharing this with the community.
