A heaviness has been settling in, with winter on its way. I felt this heaviness in my body, and went through a de-toxifying elimination diet. Now, a de-cluttering in my physical space is allowing another sense of lightness to emerge.

After de-cluttering, I find the resulting space in my physical environment allows my body and mind to relax. A clutter-free environment is rejuvenating, and frees me up to be more productive, energetic and creative. I feel lighter, more hopeful, and connected.

Clearing the clutter in your physical environment makes room for clarity in other aspects of your life. The process of puttering about, de-cluttering your physical space, frees up the cobwebs in your mind. Clarity in mind and space allows for a deeper connection with your spirit, your essence, and reason for being.

Spring is often the time when we purge this heaviness from our lives. Having a spring ritual of cleaning out the basement or garage, clears out the cobwebs, and gives a sense of renewal.

Late Fall is a great time to de-clutter too, to rejuvenate instead of allowing the onset of winter feel like a burden. Lighten your load physically and see what results!
