So, you've made some shifts, changes or transitions in your life but now you want to experience yourself as this new person. But how to do that when it's the same face staring back at you in the mirror everyday.
Allow your surroundings and/or your physical presence to be a reflection of who you are now:
1) rearrange your favorite room in the house (redecorate completely if money and time are available to do this).
2) Update your wardrobe to reflect the new you
3)Change your favorite perfume or colgne
4)Get a new haircut
5)Create a new vision board
6)Develop a new mantra
7)Change one thing in your daily routine to reflect who you are
We are all changing everyday, sometimes we make little changes that are almost imperceptible to even ourselves, and othertimes, we make significant changes. What I frequently hear from friends and clients then, is, "How do I reflect this new me?"
When the world looks the same everyday, when we appear the same physically everyday or our surroundings are static, we sometimes lose site of the awesome movement we are making. By changing one small thing that reflects the new you, you are forced to see yourself differently in relationship to your surroundings.
Me, after a recent transition I bought new clothes and got a tattoo--I'll never look like who I use to be again!
