Here’s a natural alternative to Botox that Dr. Perricone claims will have you looking markedly refreshed in 3 days. It’s called a nutritional facelift, and who knows? It can’t hurt, might help.
The key is in the omega-3 fatty acids from fish, combined with antioxidants found in blueberries, strawberries, cranberries and raspberries. Both of these are said to prevent premature aging of the skin. Eating sugar causes inflammation, which can make skin appear stiff and old. In addition to eating lots of fish and berries, for three days you’ll cut out white foods like rice, bread, and pasta.
The diet is super simple. For breakfast, toss some berries on your whole grain cereal.
For lunch and dinner, eat:
· A green salad with olive oil and lemon juice
· 3-oz of broiled salmon, tuna, or mackerel
· Strawberries, raspberries, or blueberries for dessert.
Drink at least 8 glass of water at day and emerge in a long weekend to tighter, brighter skin. Like I said, who knows? At the very least you’ll feel lighter and cleaner after the three days. If you try it, please come back here and let us all know your results in the comments!

I know a few people who've tried this, and they all say their skin looks and feels better. But they also all get tired very quickly of all that salmon. Any ideas on how to break the salmon twice a day blues?
I would probably do tuna for one meal and salmon for the other. Also, you could whip up a few different sauces so that the salmon wouldn't taste exactly the same all the time! Just watch the sugar intake. It's good to hear the positive results!
I really like the ideas on a variety of sauces - that really changes the flavor and keeps things interesting.
I have done this a few times and my face (the bags) look more firm and I feel better. I use the George Foreman grill and it cooks the salmon perfectly - never dry. I use a variety of spices or parmesan to coat the salmon. The grilling effect creates a crust...and you can switch up the flavors with whatever you want.
