One of the things I want most out of life is lots of deep connections, well more specifically good friends. I move around a lot, which on one hand provides ample opportunity to make friends, but on the other doesn't necessarily foster close friendships. Recently it was brought to my attention that perhaps I don't reach out enough, that perhaps there's more I could be doing to bring close friendships into my life. Furthermore, it was pointed out that good quality friendships don't have to be in person. You'd think I would have thought of this before given that I work on the internet and have met some of the greatest people in my life via my job! Sometimes it takes an outside perspective I guess.
