Each year Judith Wright leads a pilgrimage to a sacred site around with world. I have welcomed these "pilgrims" back after their return for over 9 years and have heard them describe their personal journeys through places like Thailand, Israel, Tibet, Southest US, China, Spain, France, Greece, Egypt. I've listened with tears in my eyes and a swelling in my heart - how much I would love to go! I have historically seen the investment in spiritual travel as a luxury not intended for me. Now that I am a leader and coach in our organization, I don't see how I cannot go! I want to set an example by following my urge to join the pilgrimage to India and trusting that I have the creativity and smarts to earn the extra money it will take to travel. I hunger to be in a place whose spirituality and worship is woven into daily life so that I might find an example of how to do that for myself. I hunger to be with other individuals who have practice in being aware of life as a spiritual journey. I have my own questions about living spiritually and my belief in g-d and what that looks like as a woman raised culturally Jewish.
I will have the total cost of the trip to India by early December.

Hi Jillian,
I am so glad to see you are still moving forward with this goal. Have you been able to discuss how all the other folks were able to finance such a trip? Maybe they could share some insight!
A dear friend of mine returns from India in a week. He went on a spiritual trek that's lasted a year. From our correspondence, it seems that one can find themselves in India.
Just wondering, Jillian, how your fund-raising is going....
Best.
I've raised the funds. I have my visa. I have my shots.
Holy cow as they say, I'm going!
