As I move through life, I often reflect on how I and those around me DO life. On a daily basis, I simply notice—feel, see, hear, and experience the variety of life. Recently, I found myself reflecting on change and how we DO change.

"Change is not merely necessary to life -- IT IS LIFE." - Alvin Toffler

With that said, how do you, and the people around you DO change?

Here are some of the profiles of change I noticed in myself and others.
Do nothing: A person who hopes the world around them changes.
Fight: A person who fights tooth and nail to avoid change, or for change.
Hide: A person who hides and may run from change. This person may change to hide from change.
Victim: A person who lives ‘whoa is me/pity me’ and hopes someone or something changes for them.
Indifferent: A person who could care less if change came or went. Sometimes they act on change, sometimes it acts on them. Whatever…
Procrastinator: A person who knows they need to make a change and keeps putting it off.
Follower: A person who wants others--typically leaders--to tell them how and when to change.
Problem solver: A person who focuses on what is not working and changes it.
Authoritarian/Disciplinarian: A person who tries to force others to change.
Group/Team: A person who looks for others for/in support of or against the same change.
Dabbler: A person who tries this or that to change but doesn’t commit or follow through.
Self righteous: A person who thinks everyone else needs to change.
Appreciative Inquiry: A person who focuses on what is working, strengths, and what gives them power first—then reflects on and creates change.
Leader: A person who pioneers change—often seeking and creating change.
Versatilist: A person who expects, dances and smiles with change. A fluid and flexible movement in change.
