Bob left the Price is Right, and with him he took all of America's dignity. I know in most shows they audition their contestants before they make it on air. This proved to me that Price is Right doesn't. There she was, a middle aged lady, she just got her name called. She was FREAKEN out. Totally ecstatic. You couldn't help but feel happy for her. She came down the isle, bid on the first item, and sure enough she got it right!!! She went up on stage, and Drew Carey welcomed her. What was her winning prize you ask? A brand new REFRIGERATOR!!!

The game was High or Low. The object was to get the amount of the fridge by guessing the price. Drew would shout out High or Low. So here we go....

Go! 600 higher 800 lower 699 higher 650 uh? higher, then all of the sudden she starts rambling like one of those guys at the auction 666,667,668,669,660 Drew is confused at this point and requests a time out. He goes, I don't understand which number you left off? She didn't either, he gave her another chance and she started over. 700 higher, 699 higher 666, 667, 668.... You should have seen the look of shock and awe on poor Drew's face.
She said 700, he said higher. Did she not know the meaning of HIGHER? I mean are you kidding me? Did she not learn to count above 700? I'm sure people will probably say in her defense that she was nervous being on TV and all, but come on!!! 2 freaken chances? 2 chances for redemption?? Oh where has Bob gone? He would never have allowed this to happen.
People, people, people. PLEASE. value your education. It's moments like these that make me sit in front of my tv and cringe. I shake my head at people like that. Education is free. Grasp it, embrace it. Learn how to count.
