It might be cooking, exercising or even watching the wind move the branches on a tree outside of your office. Find that space that creates space in your brain where thoughts slow down and peace creeps in. Don't judge this "thing" that you do, embrace it and you will find there is more and more peace in your daily life!

We operate under the idea that to create peace we must remove all chaos, sound and stimulation and sit quietly with our eyes closed. This definately works, but I don't believe it's the ONLY way to find peace through meditation. If you can create a "zone" by taking a walk or by cooking a meal or even by exercising, then do it,and let the peace that you create ground you and sustain you through the rest of your hectic day.

Great Tip. When I first learned to meditate.. to 'find peace'...I seriously could not think of anything less peaceful then sitting still.. for me that is more like punishment!

I find a great deal of peace in painting. My focus is on the colors and I pick the colors according to how I"m feeling, then I play on an blank canvas. Its a great stress reliever.
