Johann Wolfgang von Goethe had it right when he wrote about his nine requisites for happy living. I've patterned my life with this advice and want to share it with you. Fill everyday with enough of the following nine virtues and watch your contentment quotient rise:
1. Health
2. Wealth
3. Strength
4. Grace
5. Patience
6. Charity
7. Love
8. Faith
9. Hope

How much do you need of each? Enough...and that is defined by you.

HEALTH enough to make work a pleasure;

WEALTH enough to support your needs;

STRENGTH enough to battle with difficulties and forsake them;

GRACE enough to confess your sins and overcome them;

PATIENCE enough to toil until some good is accomplished;

CHARITY enough to see some good in your neighbor;

LOVE enough to move you to be useful and helpful to others;

FAITH enough to make real the things of God;

HOPE enough to remove all anxious fears concerning the future.

If you remember to BE THE STAR YOU ARE! you will live your destiny.
Enjoy the process.

Under GRACE, although Goethe wrote the words "confess your sins" I interrupt it as "acknowledge your stumbling blocks, then overcome them". Being human, we all have challenges.
Thanks for your flexibility, too!
