The Most Valuable Commodity

Just smile, that's it! Simply reconnect with the child inside yourself that got off on your favorite candy in the store, or the sensation of stroking your favorite pet, or the recollection of your most endearing memory. Anyone can do it at any time. First, chill the f$*@k out and relax. You have some time. Know that you're going to make the right move and subsidize your efforts with a smile. Clench the muscle in the right, then the the left of your mouth, it tends to happen unconsciously. The resulting formation is the biggest smile ever produced. Throw in a little mischief for kicks, you know something that the world doesn't know yet.

Because a smile is the most valuable commodity you have! Don't fool yourself into thinking that it's not a powerful tool. When you have nothing else but frustration, hopelessness, sadness, or depression, those will be the dominant thoughts in your mind and others can't help but fall victim to your heavy vibrations. Overcome your darkness. Be generous and share the one supply that can be divided and distributed to no end. The gift of your smile disarms, it inspires, it makes people wonder, and as a result, you may provoke others to smile on their own. Wouldn't that be peachy?

I smiled at someone tonight and it worked! A total stranger became a friend. Life is good!

Cool advice, Amanda. I get a real kick out of smiling at perfect strangers -- the looks are priceless, like you just winged in from another planet. Hey, smiling costs ya nothin' and goes a long way. Plus, getting fun looks or a smile back can give you a boost too. Who's game for a bit of smiling?
