Purchase a journal that inspires you to write in it. Take your time choosing the journal. Feel proud of your journal and of all the memorable moments you will be jotting down. When you're reading through those moments, expect to feel blessed for all the simple gifts that life has given you.

It will keep your mind focused on positive things. You will find that you're more on the look-out for positive things to write down. Those things that bother you will become petty as you look around and notice that you're doing pretty good already as it is.

Excellent advice, Amanda! I just started doing this a few months ago and it can really raise your energy. And, like you said, it shifts our focus to what's positive, thereby creating a synergistic pattern between us and universe - like breeds like. In addition, I also like to find ways to give to others when I feel that I need to shift my mental perspective and energy. It could be something as simple as a phone call telling someone that I appreciated something that they did, sending a card, taking someone out to dinner, etc. It's all appropriate as long as it ends with the person receiving our positive energy in a genuine way.

I've also found that when I'm feeling down, that particular journal puts a smile, even a big one, one my face real quick.

Amanda,
I really agree with you on this one- gratitude is a foolproof way to shift your energy and raise your vibration. Depending on what circumstances warrant my lists range from a simple "Gratitude List" to a " Reasons Why I am All That" list to crank up my self-esteem.....
