I'm going to make it to the gym 5 days-a-week

OK, so I'm on this health kick currently. I already go to the gym 3 days-a-week...but I want to try to make it 5 - - with my long work hours, I know it's going to be a challenge...but this is what I've decided today and I'm going to try to stick to it!

How long do your health kicks usually last? Maybe focusing on keeping 3 days for a long period of time will keep you going. If you do 5 days its just a bonus. Research shows (I actually saw this in a text book not heard it from someone that read it in fitness magazine) that people that stick with it for more than 6 months stick with exercise are less likely to drop out.

Sunny - I think your new commitment to exercise 5x/week is terrific. But why not see how uping the ante at 4 days works before you go right to five. Everything requires a gradual progression and it makes for an easier transition and acclimatization. Best of all better chance at success. I'd like to hear back on how your first few weeks go.
