A friend of mine tried an Internet dating site recently. This is a grown woman, divorced, with two children who filled out the questionnaire truthfully. Right away a guy wrote to warn her that he was a player, in case that label turned her off. Not all Hef-Wanna-Be’s are so honest. Here’s how you can tell from digital message alone if Mr. Nice Guy isn’t.
Mr. Head Over Heels – Beware the guy who’s drop dead in love with you at first text message. He could be hooking up with every woman in town, or planning a killing spree.
Mr. Possessive – Feel out the vibe of your messages. Too much hinting at sex and you can count on him being the type to drape his arm over you and declare MINE on the first date. It doesn’t mean he’s into you. Seriously.
Mr. One of the Girls – If a guy brags about all his women friends, he’s either gay and doesn’t know it, or setting you up for later when he’s out with one of his many friends. This guy wants more than his fair share of cake for the eating.
Mr. Liar – This one’s harder to tell online. That’s why you have to get smart. Google your brains out. Your new policy on lies? Zero tolerance. Confirm this with your big sister/best friend/lonely office mate. Thank me later.
I met a guy online that was obviously a con artist, he charmed me and made me feel sorry for him for all of his troubles and ended up out of it all coning me out of almost 1200.00. If I would of known I would of never fell for it. He always had the right thing to say, I wish I would of known then what I know now. But for some reason I still had this connection to him up until the time he came into my house and stole right out of my house. I have no hope for online dating.
i love it...! there is this guy.."Mr. Head Over Heels " that is running all over phoenix, az..be careful girls..im sure he's got somethin
Not a Spam comment. Google misses a lot, try www.pipl.com - it is a much better search engine for finding info on people.
Of course, the list goes on. Digital messaging is actually on women's side. Guys may be more willing to show their cards this way than face-to-face or over the phone. Beware the warning signs!
You're quickly becoming one of my favorites, Lela, thanks for keepin' it real! Funny! But I think you left out "Mr. Prick!" --Somehow he thinks he can treat you like a sex object by sending random texts that reek of a bootie-call! Obviously, he's all mixed up, so let's just IGNORE and DELETE. Where did he get that funny idea...I wonder....not worth the time in thought!
