Alright, much like my “How to Hate the Yankees” post, I may not be the best qualified to pen this piece as I am on the other coast and an avid Los Angeles Dodgers fan. You see, here in Southern California, unless you have moved from the Northeast, these teams don’t mean all that much to you…with that said…
Obnoxious fans are everywhere in sports! You see them in sports bars, at the games, and on the street. When I think of obnoxious Boston Red Sox fans, I think of them being out of place. I’ve noticed in three different ballparks I’ve attended that when the BoSox are not one of the teams playing, there’s always been a lone person wearing a Red Sox jersey. I noticed this on television as well a few times. This caused me to ponder why someone wears a jersey of a team that is not on the ticket that day…

At any rate, there are a few ways to deal with obnoxious Red Sox fans:
Remind them how many times the New York Yankees have crushed their dreams.
Ignore them.
Buy them another beer.
Tell them that “Sox” is spelled wrong.
Find out if they are really from Boston, if not then remind them that they’re bandwagoners/posers.
Tell them you can’t understand what they are saying.
...And I’m sure there are many more. What is your favorite way?
