Dear PeopleJam Members,

While some businesses begin pushing the December holidays as soon as the Halloween decorations come down, I just can't get into the holiday spirit until after Thanksgiving. It goes witch's hat, pilgrim's hat, then Santa hat; it's an immutable calendar law. Today officially kicks off the holiday shopping season. For those of you venturing out to the malls en masse (suckers)- good luck!

Here Come the Holidays. This time of year conjures up lots of memories. Lights, decorations, family gatherings, parties, snow, meeting a significant other's family for the first time, financial woes, pressure, stress, depression, egg nog, travel, etc., etc. What are some of your best, worst, good, bad, ugly, funny, heartbreaking and heartwarming stories? Did your grandfather hit on your girlfriend at Christmas dinner? What's the best present you ever gave and/or received? Ever make an ass of yourself at the holiday office party?

Share your stories and maybe you'll be promoted to the homepage. I'm looking for fun, engaging and offbeat, so start writing. Please most your material in your own blogs or as stories, goals and advice in PeopleJam topics. You're welcome to send a private message or leave a comment for me here if you have questions or to let me know about your posts.

Happy Holidays,
TJP
