Goal: Have a set cardio workout.

My motivation: I'm falling behind on cardiovascular training because I've been more focused on gaining mass instead of staying lean. I need to keep in mind that even though I'm striving for more muscle and mass, keeping my endurance up with weekly cardio- that doesn't exceed three hours/wk is crucial.

When I reach my goal, I'll be on a set cardio schedule with other dedicated individuals where every once in a while, we'll switch-up our work-outs from running to other high intensive exercise i.e. combatives, swimming, etc.

Amanda at PeopleJam introduced me to an uplifting run in Temescal Canyon that takes you along a beautiful scenic route over-looking Santa Monica, Malibu, and beyond.

I like the trail not just because of it's scenic views, but because it's great for working at your own pace. Let's hope she can keep up when we're running!

Hows that set cardio schedule working out for you? Since you haven't been killing me on those trails lately, I figure school must be consuming your time. Get back on your goal, get back to PeopleJam, and update us all on how much we're pushing ourselves, doing cardio all over this city!!
