Ushered in with Daylight Savings Time, SpringWatch 08 is upon us! The mornings are a little warmer, wee green buds are pushing through the earth and the runners are back in the parks. Before heading out the door, we debate whether the winter coat is still necessary. It is a gleeful dance waiting for the warm gentle breezes of spring.

In preparation for primavera, I offer the following list of Green Sites to set off on the right foot. From food, fashion, politics, health, happenings, products, movements and other machinations - there is something for all.

And if you have a green tip, favorite site or spring cleaning ritual, story to share - clue us in with a comment!

I just have more of an interesting point - I have a small, portable reusable bag that I keep in my purse and use for all of my purchases - even at stores like Nordstrom! You should see the looks on the faces of the cashiers when I tell them I don't want a bag! Even in the grocery stores that sell reusables at the checkout have to be asked a few times! I just find it remarkable that there is so much focus on removing the use of plastic where I live but confusion when I am doing the green thing! Thanks for all of the great links!

... for the very same reason. I don't drive, so when shopping or on errands, I use my fab nylon tote. It also ensures I don't purchase more than I can carry, which is also a very good thing.
