Ever get your dream, and then you want something else?

When I was kid, my uncle got one of the first Acuras. It was a beautiful four door white Integra. I loved it and knew I had to get one. If you can believe it, I bought my first car at ag 30. Up until this point I have worked in cities with great public transportation.

So I got the RSX type S, a sport coupe with over 200 hp. It's a manual transmission and it's a a lot of fun. But now I'm thinking that I want to move through the world in a slower way. And I also want to do my part in helping the environment. And of course, there's money. Acuras have great resale value and I could get a decent amount for this.

My plan is to buy a Mercedes from the 1980's. These things run around 400,000 miles with the same diesel engine. Incredible! In LA this is really feasible to go biodiesel because there are actually fill stations here.
