Get Radical on Your Finances: Pay Your Credit Cards

Whenever I tell people that I pay my credit cards off each month, they think I’m nuts. They sneer at me through their Prada sunglasses, shake their $150 highlights, and shrug Juicy clad shoulders in dismissal. When they complain of rising interest rates I can’t relate. I haven’t paid interest on a credit card in years. To me, it’s just not worth it. When you pay your credit cards in full every month, your life gets a lot simpler.

Don’t get me wrong - I’m no minimalist. I like to have nice things and good hair just as much as the next person, but I also choose not to have things I cannot pay for right now. (Excluding the house and car, of course.) It’s not that I can never have the stuff I want, I just can’t have it yet. If you won’t do it for your net worth, do it for the environment. One less pair of 7 jeans has got to be good for the world right?

I totally agree with you, and I have the same policy.
Credit cards are convenient but credit card debt is very dangerous.
Everyone I know is grappling with debt these days.
Just say no to credit card debt.
