File this under: You can't make stuff like this up. You have to be a creative genius or stoned out of your ever loving mind to have orchestrated this piece of non-fiction.

A friend sent me a link to an article and clip of a White House produced holiday video in which George W. Bush has an ongoing conversation with his Scots Terriers, Barney and Miss Beazley. My jaw dropped in amazement, but then it dawned on me, a Scots Terrier is just about Georgie boy's speed.

In fact, the entire Bush family was involved, the twins and Laura, having full on chats with the pooches. As God is my witness, at one point in the clip, Barney the dog had a look on his face that said, "Who is the idiot and why do I have to be this man's best friend?" It doesn't look like Bush's dog likes him anymore either. Then again, it's hard to respect your master when you have a higher I.Q. If I were Barney and Miss Beazley, I'd consider elective species reassignment surgery. Cats and chipmunks don't have the dubious distinction of being man's best friend.

Bush even got his poodle, former Prime Minister Tony Blair, in on the act. I still want to know what kind of pay off Blair is getting for being Bush's pawn all these years. He looked physically pained throughout his entire cameo. Serves him right.

As ever, George W. Bush. . . Restoring dignity and integrity to the White House. I'm not certain, but I think Laura may have been reading the book, My Pet Goat, to the terriers. I may need to watch this a second time. God bless us everyone!

Definitely not to miss. Damn the writers' strike. Where are Jon Stewart, Bill Maher and Stephen Colbert when you need them the most?

Between curious George and 4-legged animals, we've got a veritable Animal Farm!

That video kinda pissed me off.

This video pissed me off, too. If you can get past the absurd, Surreality of it, you realize that countless lives are being lost in Iraq and President Sh*t for Brains is having imaginary conversations with his doggies.

The emperor is naked, out of his mind and playing the fiddle while Rome burns.

Why hasn't this dangerous dullard been impeached for war crimes yet not to mention the other half dozen illegal atrocities perpetrated by his crooked administration?

...it's a good job I watched on an empty stomach. OK, I get that preserving our national parks is important, but what about perserving morale? What about perserving humanity? (To name, but a few IMPORTANT things.) The only obvious point in that video was the one that sits atop G.B's head.

One wonders if Bushie and Barney had a similar conversation in 2000? "Barney, you know what? I think I want to be President. Heh, heh." Barney no doubt had the same expression on his face then. It's rather like peer career counseling, except the brains are definitely on the lower end of the leash.

Barney and Bushie have a lot in common. They're both graduates of the Cheney Obedience Training Program, except Barney made it through the first time with flying colors. Bushie had to repeat it twice and is required to attend refresher courses.

Woof woof,
TJP
