IT HAPPENS EVERY YEAR. THANKSGIVING ROLLS AROUND, AND THE CALORIES START ADDING UP. BUT WITH A LITTLE WORK NOW, YOU CAN ENJOY ALL THE FOOD THAT GOES WITH THANKSGIVING. HERE’S HOW:
START BURNING EXTRA CALORIES RIGHT NOW . ADD A FEW MINUTES OF CARDIOVASCULAR EXERCISE TO EACH WORKOUT STARTING TODAY. IF YOU DON’T HAVE A WORKOUT, START TAKING A DAILY WALK. YOU CAN ALSO BURN EXTRA CALORIES DURING YOUR DAILY ROUTINE BY USING THE STAIRS INSTEAD OF ELEVATOR AND TAKING WALKS DURING YOUR LUNCH HOUR. BESIDES EXERCISE, SET SOME PRE-THANKSGIVING DIET GOALS- SO MAYBE CUT BACK ON FATS AND DESERTS AND INCREASE FRUITS AND VEGETABLES OVER THE NEXT FEW WEEKS. THERE’S NOTHING WRONG WITH INDULGING ON THANKSGIVING- BUT JUST THINK HOW MUCH BETTER THAT PIE WILL TASTE IF YOU KNOW YOU’VE GOT THE EXTRA CALORIES TO SPARE.
