Don’t have tickets to the big game? Didn’t realize your team would make it until the last minute? Barely over the playoffs? Don’t cry Buddy! You can get creative and use that brain of yours to finagle your way in…or at least mortgage your house to do it! But seriously, there are ways to enjoy the game being played at the University of Phoenix Stadium on Sunday, February 3.

1. Win ‘em! There are contests around the country that will get you to the big game.

2. Take a chance with scalpers! Get yourself to Glendale, Arizona on the day of the Super Bowl and peruse the parking lot for a deal. Make sure to bring several thousand dollars and be ready to negotiate!

3. Hit EBay! Again, make sure you have plenty of dough, Joe! Tickets are going for as much as $160,000! Yeah – you read that right – one-hundred-sixty thousand.

4. Get a sob story! Write your best sob-story/essay/letter to the teams/stadium/city/NFL and beg for tickets. Or you can go on YouTube and beg!

5. Plan ahead next time! In all seriousness, if you don’t already have your tickets for 2008, wait until the following year to go and get those reserved soon! Trying to get Super Bowl tickets at the last minute is time-consuming, costly, and usually quite frustrating! Now is the time when “deals” come out of the woodwork and take desperate fans for a ride. Be smart sport, go watch the game at a party with close friends and save your hard-earned money. There will be others!
