Whether you like the water or land variety, why not take a vacation that revolves around sports!?
Dive the Cayman Islands: On Grand Cayman in the city of George Town, there is this awesome dive shop called Eden Rock where you can rent a tank and step off the shore right into the water. There are excellent coral caves and plenty of fish to see! I walked to eighty feet deep and the visibility was endless! Talk about stress relief! They do offer charter boats as well for some very nice dive and snorkel spots.
Surf the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii: In the winter months the North Shore is hopping with waves! Take a drive to the south side for tranquil, swimmable waves if that is more your speed. There is no better stress buster than to chill out on Waikiki Beach when the water is calm!
Golf Palm Springs: During the late winter and early spring months the weather is so perfect to hit the links! If you can’t find a course you like in Palm Springs, you probably don’t like golf. Do yourself a favor and rent a cool atomic ranch place for your stay – California architecture at its finest!
Go to Tampa: You can attend a waterskiing school, golf, and take in professional sports. With great water sports and golf weather all year, you can also take in NHL, MLB, or NFL depending on the season! Exceptional snorkeling and diving are close by as well!
Take a hike! Or a ride! Get your hiking gear and mountain bike and hit one of the southwest’s many magnificent mountain trails! Arizona and New Mexico have some of the most scenic and tranquil locales!
As I have said before, whatever you decide – just get outside and move!
