Super Bowl XLII in Glendale, Arizona is just around the corner. The powerhouse New England Patriots are pitted against the resurgent New York Giants. What are the Pats keys to the game?

1. The offensive line: This unified group gives Tom Brady all day long to throw the ball! No wonder he always looks so calm.

2. Deep roster for receivers and a strong running game: How many times have you seen opponents take out a team’s star receiver and render them useless? Even when Randy Moss is double-covered, Tom Brady has plenty of other targets like Wes Welker, Donté Stallworth, Laurence Maroney, and Jabbar Gaffney for example.

3. Junior Seau: Who says 38 is too old for the NFL? This former San Diego Chargers star has played like a man ten years his junior. He seems like he wants to retire with a ring!

4. Bill Belichick: With a degree in economics, he sure knows how to budget playing time, maximize returns, and profit from turnovers.

5. Unity: When is the last time you have seen such a well-oiled machine? This is one team in the NFL where you don’t see any single member trying to take credit for anything.
