...and then a bunch of practice with the 45# bar
My old PR is 80# but it wasn’t going to happen today. I have to really
concentrate on speed because I slow down as it gets heavy and start
yanking with my arms, which is the totally WRONG thing to do at that
point. On the 75# I did a power snatch by accident because of yanking
with my arms and it just made me laugh. After that I practiced a bunch
with the 45# to get the right speed in my head so I ended the workout
thinking about speed and snap. Gonna work on these every week again,
like I was in the pre-Nub days.
