Had a migraine yesterday and woke up with a headache this morning.
Thought about not working out, but decided to anyway. Sometimes if I
come to the gym in the mornings and see everyone else working out and I
don’t, I feel like I’m missing out on the “fun”! lol
I’m not sure how “fun” today was really though!

This workout, a combo of “Helen” and “Fran,” was first created at a
CrossFit Cert up in Santa Cruz that Andy and I were both at a few years
ago. I remember after we did it that Coach Glassman said it was an
experiment and he felt that maybe it was a bit too long. Of course
that doesn’t stop anyone from continuing to do it!
The 4th and 5th run I felt genuinely nauseous which I think was from
the headache, because I felt kinda achy, too. I honestly seriously
considered stopping and throwing up on a tree on 14th street. I’ve
never thrown up in a workout before. I’ve felt really gross, but never
thrown up. During the 5th run I kept thinking, “huh, maybe today is
the day!” But alas, that landmark will have to wait.
On the plus side, I felt really great on my last set of pullups,
like I finally got my kip back and really cranking. That was a nice
feeling.
