If you’re like me, it’s time to start watching those calories before bathing suit season gets into full gear. I like to count Weight Watchers points. Here are three easy breakfasts for only 4 points each!

  • Oatmeal With Banana: A portion of oatmeal is a good size. Add a banana and you’ve got a filling meal. Add a little with artificial sweetener if you like, although with the banana you really don’t need it. Adding cinnamon gives it extra oomph. Points: 4
  • Eggs & Toast: For this you’ll need to find a high fiber bread that stays at one point or less per piece. Scramble 1 egg plus 3 egg whites. Season with salt and pepper and add some salsa on top for more flavor. Points: 4
  • Special K & Fruit: the strawberry cereal by Special K (or the off brand knock off) is sweet, crunchy, and you get a cup of it for 2 points. Add a ½ cup milk and have a 1 point fruit (apple, plum, pear, orange) on the side.

Stick with these healthy starts and you’ll be baring belly before June!

Try to get light wheat bread, 2 slices for 1 pt, 3 egg whites, 1 pt. 2 tbl fresh salsa, 0 pts. Total of 2 pts. and that cuts the recipe in 1/2! Perfecto!

I never eat breakfast, and I never seem to have time for it. I have this huge mental block that says, that skipping breakfast means a few more minutes in bed. I guess I could carry the oatmeal and banana and have it on the way to work or something.. Thanks Lela!
