I decided to hop on the fad and try out the Atkins diet. Whoa! Big mistake. Yes, I lost a lot of weight, but it really put me in the worst mood and all the weight came back!
Not to try anything that promises quick results!
I tried it too and was able to lose 30 pounds in 5 months, but the second I diverted from the diet the weight came back even faster than I had lost it. It did however make me aware of blood sugar levels and the importance of not spiking your blood sugar all day long. I think if you want to eat carbs you have to do the exercise. There is just no way around it!
