Hot and Bothered: Top 10 Signs You're Infatuated!
1. Your heart JUMPS when the phone rings and SINKS a bit when you realize it is not your love interest on the other end.
2. The moment you hang up you want to call them right back because you think of 1,000 other things you want to say or share with them.
3. You begin a lot of emails to them, rewrite them and then can't quite think of how to exactly word them, erase them and ultimately run out of time when all you really want to do is call and talk to them.
4. Your heart smiles when you scroll through your most recently dialed or received phone calls and you see their name there.
5. Joy pours into your heart when you see their name appear in your email in-box and the joy turns to elation when you get to read their message. You read their email over and over and over again.
6. You continually find ways to bring up their name in almost every conversation and your friends and family begin to take notice.
7. Your mind wanders to thoughts of them way too often and you hang out in that space way too long.
8. You are inspired to do your best work and to become the best person you can be.
9. You feel like you are defying gravity as you walk...as if you are walking on air.
10. You day and night dream about them. . . a lot!

Sounds like me and an old friend...how i miss them...
This is such a cute article. Just reading the reasons made my mind drift off. I think I just may share this with my current infatuation!
I read this list and thought "sounds like a silly teenage girl list!" but then I realized...no matter how old you are, every single point on this list is still valid! Love can turn people into mushy, cuddly, goofy things. And it's wonderful.
This is such a great little list. No matter the age, at least one of them still applies! I know sometimes I get a bit silly with infatuation, now I can look out! :)

This blog reminded me of my infatuations I had as teenagers. Man, I don't know what it was about those times, but I had some crazy crushes. I don't really feel that way anymore, but it was fun to think back at those times. Thanks for the post!
Sometimes its hard to admit to ourselves that we're infatuated with someone. Don't be afraid of love. Its better to try than to never know, guys.
Infatuation is an awesome feeling, but is NOT love! This is mainly because it is not a choice- we cannot choose to be (or not to be) infatuated about a particular person. On the other hand, love requires effort and determination and we can love anyone we want to.
Infatuation always dies withint two years. If the two of you do not learn to truly love each other before that time, your relationship will fail.

SOOO true!!! Thanks for the comment. SO true that infatuation is not a choice. But love certainly is. It's a product of being with each other, sticking it out, sacrificing your wishes for the other, being nice to them even when you don't "feel" like it. THAT'S true love. And love doesn't just happen. It develops. :) Infatuation can be a great start to a relationship but it can only take you so far. But the stuff that keeps you going even when things get really hard is love and mind you, it(love) DOES NOT come naturally - you have to work CONSCIOUSLY toward it.
Do these things NOT happen when a person is in love?
This doesn't sound like infatuation. That list is about true love. I should be called "Top 10 Signs You're In Love".
