The verbal fake. What about the woman genuinely enjoying the sex, just not quite to the point of orgasm. Then since its such a close call the guy may ask afterwords did you finish ? And all she has to do is say, "Yeah." or "Yeah, you kidding me?" or "Oh my God, you couldn't tell?" I suspect I get this one about 1/5 of the time. My wife doesn't fake anything, she just may not be finished off every time.

Often men and women are looking for different sexual satisfaction when having sex. It's important for both men and women to be in-tune with the expectations of each other. Sex should be enjoyable for both men and women. Allowing your selves to let go and explore without feeling bad or ashamed.

How about the "I don't want to discuss it" faked orgasm. You're doing it wrong, or I'm not in the mood. I don't want to dissect it, so I'll fake to avoid the discussion. Possibly a variation on the "It's just not going to happen tonight" fake.

I totally have one to add to the list: the "I'm bored and screaming will keep me entertained" orgasm. I remember back in college being with some pretty bland guys. Since I wasn't going to reach orgasm, I kept myself entertained by seeing if I could wake up the neighbors.

I could understand the pity Orgasm in certain very rare circumstances...
but I think once a woman grows up and gains a little life experience, she begins to become more assertive, than this article would like to acknowledge. Perhaps I am speaking from personal experience but I am just way too self centered to go with out orgasm. Faking an orgasm is equivalent to lying to your partner. It is sad but true that our society has bred a bunch of pent up sex scared people. People can not communicate to their partners what they want and are afraid to be honest with them about what they are feeling, and that is just sad. I hate that this blog was even able to be written, but it is a truth.

This is an intriguing article... it makes me feel like I'm abnormal because I have never faked an orgasm. I know that it happens often, but it just never occurred to me to do so. Does that make me inconsiderate? Anyways, it's an interesting article that helps me understand why other women do so.
