My parents used to take us to the Saturday matinee every weekend without fail. Some of my best memories are of going to the movies and dinner afterward as a family. I’m not especially happy with children’s entertainment today and want to expose my children to the classics I loved as a child who helped to shape who I am today.

I will begin a DVD collection of these films and make Friday night family movie night.

We’ll enjoy ourselves and I will get to share my fondest childhood memories with my kids.
